As our New Label Developer, your main mission is to establish New Label within our company by developing new products that are tailored to the needs of our international partners. You are setting up partnerships with brand owners to grow their new brands through our worldwide sales network. Moreover, you are responsible for growing existing A-brands in new regions, where the brand can still gain market share.

Some of your responsibilities:

• Source and actively approach new international suppliers and manufacturers in Europe
• Maintain and expand the relationship with your international suppliers. You are closely involved from A to Z, ensuring that the products are delivered as designed
• Advise on interesting products and set up KPIs to manage your goals and targets
• Negotiate prices, payments, and delivery terms
• Maintain close contact with various internal and external stakeholders, such (graphic) design companies, manufacturers, and clients. Teamwork for the win!
• Set up and monitor work processes and methods for Product Management and buyers

You have experience working in a New Label team and are ready to set the vision and strategy yourself. You are an expert on market trends and needs. You have a good eye for developing and creating new products and the motivation and power to get things done. You enjoy working in a team environment and getting to know your colleagues on a personal level.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• You have completed a higher professional education (hbo-level)
• You are fluent in English. Having a good command of Dutch or another language is a plus
• You have at least 3 years of experience in a Category Buyer function within a medium-sized or large retail organization or in a Sales function on the manufacturer’s side
•  You are an expert in negotiating and making (price) agreements
•  You are a great conversation partner, who enjoys taking ownership and building sustainable partnerships with the clients
